NPP Primaries: K.T Hammond, Ursula, Sly Tetteh, Henry Quartey retain seats

In a significant triumph, K.T Hammond, the Member of Parliament for Adansi-Asokwa, emerged as the winner in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Primary on Saturday. He defeated Samuel Binfoh Darkwa, securing 311 votes compared to Darkwa’s 125 votes.

Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the incumbent Member of Parliament and Minister for Communications, also celebrated victory in the Ablekuma West constituency. She garnered 817 votes, defeating Roni Paa Kwesi Nicol who received 241 votes. However, 20 votes were rejected.

Sylvester Tetteh came out as the victor in the Bortianor Ngleshie Amafrom parliamentary primary. He secured 590 votes, surpassing Vida Agyekum Acheampong with 461 votes, and Eric Kojo Kuranachie with 34 votes.

Additionally, Henry Quartey emerged as the winner in the Ayawaso Central primary.
