Ogyeahohuo Yaw Gyebi II re-elected as President of National House of Chiefs

Ogyeahohuo Yaw Gyebi II has been re-elected for a second term as President of the National House of Chiefs. He secured 42 votes, defeating the Chief of Dormaa, Osaagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, who garnered 30 votes, with one ballot rejected.

In the race for Vice President, Biupe-wura Abdulai Jinapor II emerged victorious, receiving 52 votes to beat three other contenders.

The election process was delayed for several hours as the House discussed a legal challenge filed by the Sampa Chief, Nana Samgba Gyafla.
