Parliament to vet Armah-Kofi Buah, 3 others Monday
The Appointments Committee will vet Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, along with three regional ministers-designate on Monday, January 27, 2025.
The vetting session will begin at 9:00 AM in Committee Rooms 1 and 2 of the Administration Building in Parliament.
This process will review the qualifications of individuals nominated by President John Dramani Mahama to lead key ministries and regions, as part of the efforts to strengthen the leadership team for his administration.
The other nominees to be vetted include:
Tia Ibrahim, Minister-Designate for the North East Region
Dr. Frank Amoakohene, Minister-Designate for the Ashanti Region
Akamugri Atanga Donatus, Minister-Designate for the Upper East Region
The Appointments Committee has already approved several nominees in previous sessions.
This upcoming vetting is crucial in finalizing the leadership structure of President Mahama’s government, ensuring that the administration is fully prepared to address key national challenges.
