Part II: My vote is for Dr. Bawumia, this is why! -Fadi Dabbousi

They clapped heavily, so loudly that the euphoria of the thousands gathered at the rally drowned the thunder that cracked in the thunderstorms above, which the youth and all well-meaning Ghanaians braved. They all came, eager to listen to the words of wisdom spoken by the flagbearer and leader of the NPP, Dr Mahmoud Bawumia, as he referenced the achievements of President Akufo-Addo’s government which he intends to add many more social interventions to.

Of course, such innovative measures announced by Dr Mahmoud Bawumia can never be birthed by the illogical insult of a political party called, the NDC! So please, before I continue, I beseech you all in the name of GOD, and the cohesion that we are looking for as a nation, to vote number 1 on election day and fortify your choice by voting for the corresponding NPP parliamentarian such that governance will not be interrupted to the detriment of the development of our country. We do not need a reversal of our fortunes at this time or any other time for that matter!

So, let us start with kidney failure. Dialysis is expensive and due to lack of money, many kidney patients die, sorry to say, needlessly. The empathy of President Akufo-Addo cuts across board and along with his wise Vice President, Alhaji Dr Mahmoud Bawumia, a pilot was initiated to test the fiscal survival of the economy if this treatment was added to the NHIS. Children under 18 and adults over 60 were put on the programme. Alhamulillah, the pilot was successful, hence the decision by the NPP government to migrate dialysis to the NHIS. This is one of the many lifesaving initiatives this NPP government will bag under its sterling but not challenge-free eight-year administration, starting on the 1st of December 2024.

Then again, PWDs (persons with disability) will, from January next year, be eligible for free tertiary education in addition to the children of cocoa farmers that number over 87,000 souls. I mean really, when at all, were we ever shown anything close to this kind of empathy and responsible governance in Ghana?

This is just the beginning of more goodness to come under His Excellency Dr Mahmoud Bawumia. Ah, nipa e wɔ abadaeɛ ampa! In shaa ALLAH, once he is voted into power, he will come with a policy…ok just wait for it; ONE DISTRICT ONE SOLAR FARM!!! The idea is to reduce power generation using fossil fuel and gas, hence reducing our carbon print or air pollution, while slashing electricity tariffs by 50% or more! What! Yes, this is the man Ghanaians must all vote for. No other Party is significant at this stage because, even from the biggest opposition party of insults, the NDC, we have not seen any sensible plan for Ghana in their manifesto except the 24 hour economy, which you cannot participate in unless you are a thief, witch or wizard!

I am not going to write all the policies down in one article at a go. Ah, it is said that if your honey is sweet, take it a lick at a time! So enjoy this one and wait for more and more and more!

Wait wait wait, before I sign out, let me add this one last bit…ooooh, your ears are tickling you, I know. Ok, so traders are going to get “the traders’ fund”, which will be used to offer market women and traders immediate interest-free loans with just the presentation of their Ghana card instead of having to struggle at the banks and the ensuing go-come syndrome that plagues these leeching financial institutions.

Kyerɛsɛ, wompɛ wei, na wopɛ dɛn! Ɛnuanom ne adɔfo, ɛnma obiara nsese wo, Dr Bawumia ɔbetumi yɛ!

kaahã mɔ ko mɔ ko laka bo, Dr bawumia baanyɛ afee!!

Kada ku bari kowa ya yaudare ku. Ku ji abin da nake gaya muku, don ALLAH!!!
Peace! Asomdwɛ! Kwanche hankeri! Toijɔlɛ!
