Part III: My vote is for Dr. Bawumia, this is why! -Fadi Dabbousi

The sweetness, it is said, is in the pie, and knowing your craving for that, I shall serve it to you hot and fresh.

Continuing from where I left off in my previous article, let me remind the reader that decisions on where to put your thumb, if not for the love of the NPP, must be where the manifesto policies favour progress and amelioration of one’s living conditions. And so it is that we have been blessed with a, relatively, young flagbearer by the name of Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia, who has, really, left no stone unturned in churning out helpful, much needed, and well-thought-out policies to add to those already implemented by His Excellency President Nana Akufo-Addo.
With the near completion of the 111 district hospitals under agenda 111, over 70,000 nurses and Doctors will be employed to man those facilities to deliver health services to their localities.

Seventy thousand is a not a joke, and when we say that this government has employed millions of youth in various fields of endeavor, you cannot but feel a sense of pride that the same people with all these fantastic ideas have propelled the indefatigable Vice President to lead them into elections 2024, as the flagbearer and leader of the NPP.

So, please, make sure that your thumb is carefully pressed sideways at the number one slot on both parliamentary and Presidential ballots come December 7, 2024. It must be no other because the destiny of Ghanaians lies in sensible policies the implementation of which will reflect on the masses, positively.

Regarding pilgrimage, Dr Bawumia will set up a National Pilgrimage Authority to facilitate pilgrimage for both Muslims and Christians. This is the flagbearer of the NPP, a current Vice President, who knows no discrimination, practices no discrimination, and tolerates no discrimination of any sort, religious, ethnic, racial, or other!!!

There is, also, the issue of vocational training for Kaya Ye girls, those unfortunate young ladies who for their unfortunate situations have found themselves in the grips of the most sadistic human beings one can imagine, raping them at shop fronts in the middle of the night and taking their day’s sweat and toil without even an iota of sympathy. These young ladies will learn vocations that will suit their interests and, hopefully, liberate themselves from the shackles of impoverishment and slavery!

Then our chiefs, across board, will be put on salary and be given a say in governance, something that has never happened in Ghana at all, pre or post-independence! You see, all the policies of Dr Bawumia, as mentioned in the manifesto of the NPP for the upcoming elections, are about empathy, amelioration of the Ghanaian condition, propelling the citizens to newer horizons of hope and exceptional accomplishments! Ghanaians are very smart and hardworking people, and their son, Dr Mahmoud Bawumia is just as such. He has been blessed with a notch more than the average person in terms of astuteness and foresight, so just as he cannot see himself failing, he cannot allow the Ghanaian dream to fail, for what are we as a nation if our dreams are shattered? The most important appeal here is, really, not to look below the number one slot on the ballot papers for both presidential and parliamentary elections. All you have to do is to place your thumb sideways on the space at the number slot, fold the sheets, also, sidelong to avoid smudging the ink, which will render your vote invalid, and then dropping it in the ballot box bɔkɔɔ. Before you do that, make sure it is stamped at the back by the electoral officer present to validate it. After that, step back and keep watch until Dr Mahound Bawumia and the parliamentary candidate are declared winners. Saaa pɛpɛɛ pɛ!

Back on the Dr Bawumia agenda, children with cancer will be treated for free! Yes, chemotherapy and other forms of cancer treatment are extremely expensive. Ask me, I lost my mother to this most terrible disease. Children are our future, and saving them must be an ultimate endeavor for all of us, so giving them extra care will, most certainly, save some who will grow to be the saviours of mother Ghana, ultimately, in the not-too-distant future!

Let love rule! Let Dr Bawumia rule! Let us give him the steer! At least he will not keep us in first gear as a former president turned presidential hopeful did in 2013!
GOD bless!!!
