Regina Daniels battling drug-alcohol addiction -Senator Ned Nwoko

Claims Actress is battling drug and alcohol addiction

Nigerian senator and businessman Ned Nwoko has publicly addressed the growing concerns surrounding his wife, actress Regina Daniels, after a viral video showed her visibly distressed and agitated. In a post and accompanying video shared on his verified Instagram handle (@princenednwoko) on Sunday, Nwoko claimed that Daniels is struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, which he says is at the core of recent disturbances in their marriage.

“Regina was not always like this. Her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse is the root of our problem,” the senator wrote. “She must continue her rehabilitation programme, or I fear for her life and safety.”

Allegations of violence and property damage

According to Nwoko, the actress went on an unprovoked rampage in his absence, attacking staff members and damaging property within their residence.

“She slapped and hit three staff in the past 48 hours and destroyed property, including cars and windows, for no just cause,” he alleged. The senator added that Regina has since moved to a location where she allegedly has “unrestricted access to drugs.”

Senator offers rehabilitation options

Nwoko revealed that he had presented his wife with two options for rehabilitation—either at a facility in Asokoro or in Jordan—where he claims she would not have access to drugs.

Blames wife’s associates for worsening situation

Further inflaming the controversy, Nwoko accused some of Regina’s close associates of enabling and supplying her with drugs.

“While I took Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s main drug supplier,” he claimed. “Another known supplier of drugs to Regina is the tiny evil devil called Ann,” he added, without providing further details or evidence.

Viral video sparks public concern

Nwoko’s statement comes on the heels of a viral video showing Regina Daniels in a heated outburst. In the video, she was seen shouting and expressing distress over alleged mistreatment.

“In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing, but in my own house, I am a Queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much,” she exclaimed.

The footage sparked widespread concern and speculation on social media, drawing reactions from fans and fellow celebrities.

Regina’s Brother accuses Nwoko of abuse

Regina’s brother, Ojeogwu Samuel Danhillman—known publicly as Sammy West—responded angrily on Instagram, alleging that the senator had assaulted his sister.

“Anywhere wey man dey beat woman, whether na my sister or not, I go fight with my blood,” he wrote, hinting at a family standoff brewing over the situation.

Regina yet to respond publicly

As of the time of this report, Regina Daniels has not released an official statement addressing either the viral video or her husband’s serious allegations. The root cause of the altercation remains unclear.

The actress, who married Nwoko in 2019 at the age of 19, has often been a subject of public fascination due to the couple’s 40-year age gap and high-profile lifestyle.
