Sports Obama wins Best Sports Journalist of the Year

Angel FM’s Sports Presenter, Saddick Adams, has been adjudged the Best Sports Journalist of the Year 2021 at the 46th edition of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) awards last night at International Conference Center in Accra.

Sports Obama beats stiffer competitions from colleagues journalists from other media houses; Juliet Bawuah of Media General, Samuel Boakye- Buckman of Oliseh Photos, and John Vigah of Ghanaian Times.

Obama winning the prestigious award did not surprise many, especially his colleagues in the media space who see him to be doing marvelously well.

This year the young Obama did a documentary about legendary Ghanaian goalkeeper Robert Mensah who died mysteriously before Asante Kotoko African club match.

Obama did not see Robert Mensah play, but his storytelling skills in that documentary receives applaud from many people in the media landscape.

SportsObama is the host of Angel FM Floodlight between 7 to 9 pm on weekdays, which educates and entertains many sports-loving fans.

Their way of presentation and discussions has lured many who are not sports enthusiasts to follow which show.

SWAG President Kwabena Yeboah, on several occasions, has commended Obama and his team for their excellent work in promoting and projecting Ghana football.

He is also the 2018 winner of the Ghana Journalists Association(GJA) sports Journalist of the year award.
