Stop blaming Akufo-Addo, he is the best President ever! –Fadi Dabbousi
Nothing can be more “below the belt” than to apportion blame on Akufo-Addo for the apathy that the electorate paid the NPP back with. What has the President done except to lift the image of Ghana to the highest international pedestals so much so that our nation was being admired by leaders all over the world. When his intervention policies began to take shape, and all of you had gotten appointments, you spat in the bowl that your food was served in. If you had any form of patriotism to Ghana, you would have done your work well enough to receive praises from everywhere in the larger Ghanaian constituency. If your doors were open to the poor footsoldiers on whose backs you rode to be in places of authority, we would not have suffered the humiliation that we did.
If you had not serviced your stomachs and genitals, using your positions and the slayqueens that bunched up at your doors like flies, we in the NPP would not be ridiculed in this manner, today. What is more heart-wrenching is the margin of defeat. Yes, we made history with that, and unless, by a streak of good luck, we are able to win in same manner a future election, we will remain the chewing gum that will squish between the teeth of the alcohol infested mouths of marauding bandits.
I crisscrossed the nation in my articulator, driving when and where I could. The sadness on the faces of the NPP supporters was visible in spite of the euphoria that accompanied Dr Mahamoudu Bawumia wherever he went. Most of the appointees and Ministers became demagogues and tin gods. All of a sudden, those that reeked of sour sweat for not bathing in a while in order to save money while we were in opposition, were now driving $100K vehicle, throwing their weight about and insulting people for not giving them way to pass as they meandered their way in heavy traffic.
I found an excuse to run away from the Ashanti campaign due to the clownish performance of Chairman Wontumi, who turned the rallies into charismatic rattles and empty cacophony. “Yuwa vut iz in yuwa hund”…”yuwa winni iz in yuwa haat”, he shouted like a branded cocoon, inebriated on a dose of maggot juice.
What has President Nana Akufo-Addo done to anyone to deserve such ugly tantrums, especially from no other than appointees who were scandalised for dealing with the other side at the expense of the suffering of their own? What has President Akufo-Addo done to deserve such scorn, especially from appointees who had more favour from him than the very people who sat at his feet to ensure that his Presidency was a success! If anyone should be despondent, it should be people like me who neither got an appointment nor business to support their livelihoods.
Yes, I, for example, did not get an appointment. Disappointed as I was, I remained at Akufo-Addo’s feet with my unrelenting loyalty because my dedication to him was selfless, and my love for him was unwavering. I did not write to lash out then, and, certainly, did not make noise like the empty barrels that most of you have always been.
A lot of the appointees cherished the political walks not to drive home the message per sey, but to engage in “suliyanism” and “twerkinism” while you paraded yourselves in tights that pushed on your groins to expose limp cartilage better off hidden between your thighs. Shame on all of you.
Very soon, I will begin my videos to expose the appointees one by one! I will tell their damned stories and give them a shower in public that they may repent and become good citizens. Next time, maybe, despondent people like us will be appointed to make the government proud.
Dr Bawumia, did not pay the price for the sins of Akufo-Addo, but we all paid the price for a number of factors:
The campaign team, except for a few sterling personalities like Nana Akomea and Carbo, was useless, I beg to say.
The rantings and ravings of Wontumi disgusted a lot of people. I stood on stage and watched our lovely supporters. Their looks told a sad story.
The irony of using the galamsey guru, wontumi, to talk against galamsey was a grave sin!
The arrogance of the appointees, and the greed of NPP executives dealt us a painful blow!
Amongst a plethora of reasons, this one is more pertinent to the gigantic loss we have suffered. Bringing good ol’ chairman Ntim was a very unstrategic move in this political game of chess. He was incoherent with his speech and gravely uninteresting.
We changed John Boadu. That was a bad omen. John rose through the ranks and learnt politics at the feet of the most astute personalities. Next time, bring him as General Secretary, again. Then you can be rest assured that we will win the next election. Let me take this opportunity to apologise to him if he thinks I ever wrote against him.
Dr Bawumia was the scapegoat for all the backbiting and backstabbing that went on at his back and the backs of the most faithful politicians, His Excellency the President and Honourable Chief of Staff.
The other unfortunate situation is the fact that the elections were held on a Saturday that made us lose the votes of the Sabbath worshipers!
AGAIN, SHAME ON YOU!!!
