Stop sabotage of McDan Aviation, Goldstar Air- GaDangme Diaspora to GCAA, GACL
GaDangme Diaspora (USA) has taken a swipe at the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL) over sabotage, hostile and intolerant treatment of businesses belonging to GaDangme tycoons in the country including McDan Aviation and Goldstar Air.
McDan Aviation Private Jet Terminal was shutdown over alleged procedural impropriety after the latter launched it for take+off.
A statement issued by the GaDangme Diaspora said “GaDangme Diaspora (USA) Expresses Outrage and Disappointment in GCAA and GACL. We, the GaDangme diaspora in the United States, stand in solidarity with our GaDangme youth and the Elite, expressing our outrage and disappointment in the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL). These events and disparities against GaDangme businesses and entrepreneurs, namely McDan Aviation and Goldstar Air (Wings of Ghana), have been identified and deemed intolerable; the Ghana Airport Company Limited’s deliberate act to sabotage McDan’s business before it takes off is becoming a stain on the country Ghana.
The distribution of a misleading newsletter to the media not only exposes GACL’s incompetence, but also informs current and prospective investors that Ghana is not a safe country with which to conduct business. This public outburst might have been handled internally and in a more professional manner, but it came to this as a result of the GACL’s impetuous attempt to destroy Gadangme’s McDan Private Jet business before it ever gets started”.
“We have identified a pattern of abuse against GaDangme businesses; in 2017, the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority issued a similar misleading and deceptive newsletter against a rightfully owned Ghanaian business, Goldstar Air (Wings of Ghana), in order to destroy its image and ability to operate as an international airline. GCAA did not stop spreading their hatred and misinformation, and in 2020 submitted a letter to the Liberian government requesting them not to do business with Goldstar Air. This came after an agreement was struck that Goldstar Air would handle their national airline. Agoo agoo GaDangme Bii, these unscrupulous activities inside government agencies and the media have not gone unnoticed, and it is apparent that they seek to delegitimize our enterprises. Private firms like Goldstar Air and McDan Aviation must be allowed to function and
supported by our authorities in order for Ghana to progress into a more stable economy.
For crying out loud, the airport land belongs to the GaDangme people of La, and Ghana Airport Company Limited and Ghana Civil Aviation Authority must learn to respect their landlords. We hope that this issue will be handled as soon as possible in order to restore some faith in our businesses and create more jobs for Ghanaians. We absolutely win together when we work together and stick together”.

GaDangme Diaspora (USA) Expresses Outrage and Disappointment in GCAA and GACL

Long live GaDangme States.
