The leadership of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) has extended heartfelt congratulations to its members who were recently appointed to national positions by President John Dramani Mahama.
UTAG highlighted that these appointments are a reflection of the individuals’ exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence.
“We are thrilled to acknowledge and celebrate your outstanding accomplishments,” a statement issued on Monday, February 10, read.
The UTAG members appointed include:
Prof. Ransford Edward Van Gyampo – CEO, Ghana Shippers Authority
Prof. Kwaku Danso-Boafo – Secretary to Cabinet
Prof. Kobby Mensah – CEO, Ghana Tourism Development Company Ltd
Prof. Theresah Patrine Ennin – Special Aide to the Vice President
Prof. Nana Ama Klutse – CEO, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
Prof. Francis Dodoo – Presidential Advisor on Anti-Corruption Programme
Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis – Director-General, Ghana Education Service (GES)
Dr. Shafic Osman – Executive Secretary, Public Utility and Regulatory Commission
Mr. Salisu Bi-Awuribe Esq – Regional Minister, Savannah Region
Dr. Justice Srem-Sai – Deputy Attorney General
UTAG’s statement further emphasized that these “noteworthy appointments underscore the caliber of our members and highlight the valuable contributions that educators and professionals are making to the progress of the nation.”
The association expressed confidence that these appointees’ expertise and visionary leadership would foster progress and excellence within their respective fields, ultimately benefiting the country.
