Veteran Ghanaian Journalist Godwin Avenorgbor is dead

Godwin Avenorgbor, a veteran Ghanaian broadcaster, has passed away. The cause of his death is unknown at this time.

Avenorgbor who previously worked at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) and most recently served as the Director of Communication for the Melcom Group of Companies, was last seen at the 75th Anniversary Lecture of the Ghana Journalist Association at the La Palm Royal Beach in Accra.

The GBC announced his sudden death on Facebook on Monday, August 19th. Avenorgbor is known for introducing the Radio and TV Breakfast Show in Ghana.
