Where’s Shama Hospital you cut-sod for 1yr ago?- Kirk-Mensah asks Akufo-Addo
Western Regional Communication Officer of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr. Richard Kirk-Mensah has taken a swipe at President Akufo-Addo for deceiving the people of Shama in the region after cutting-sod to build a 100-bed Shama Hospital at a cost of €32 million, in the run-up to 2020 polls but has absolutely nothing in site to show for it after one year.
According to him, President Akufo-Addo cannot be taken serious on his “Agenda 111” promise because he is noted for only cutting-sod for projects solely to deceive Ghanaians without blueprints to execute them.
Mr. Kirk-Mensah’s comment comes at the time the President has cut-sod for construction of 111 district hospitals across Ghana after failing to fulfill same promise he made in one of his Covid-19 addresses.
In a sharp reaction to President Akufo-Addo broken promise to the residents of Shama in the Western Region, Mr. Kirk-Mensah said “If you believe that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his NPP government are going to build 111 district hospitals then you doing that at your peril, just watch how the NPP deceived the people of shama about the €32m 100bed hospital … they did the sod cutting on 19th August 2020 and as at today 16th August 2021 not even a block has been sent to site.Wayo NPP 419 NPP
Matrickwo NPP”.
