Zoomlion Ghana celebrates 2024 achievements with staff games
Zoomlion Ghana Limited celebrated its remarkable 2024 achievements with a special event recognizing the hard work and dedication of its staff.
The celebration took place on Friday, December 20th, at the Zoomlion head office forecourt in Nmai Djorn, Accra, featuring fun games, prizes, and entertainment.
Eric Osei Annor, the Human Resources Capital Manager, expressed his appreciation for the employees’ contributions. “Your dedication has been key to achieving our 2024 revenue targets,” he said. “Let’s continue to push for excellence and exceed our goals in the upcoming year.”
One of the highlights was the “Agoro Fie” competition, hosted by renowned actor David Dontoh, where participants vied for exciting prizes. The event also included live music, a wide selection of food and drinks, and other entertainment, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Osei Annor emphasized the importance of the staff’s role in the company’s success. “Our achievements are the result of the unwavering efforts of every employee,” he noted. “I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together.”
Emma Adwoa Appea Osei-Dua, Head of Communication and Corporate Affairs, shared similar sentiments, urging employees to aim for even greater success in the year ahead. “We’ve set a high bar this year, and I’m confident we can achieve even more,” she said. “Let’s continue to work together and reach new heights in the coming year.”
David Dontoh, also Director of the National Film Authority, used the occasion to call for the inclusion of Ghanaian culture and history in the education curriculum. “It’s essential that we instill cultural pride and moral values in our children,” he emphasized. “I encourage educators to integrate Ghanaian history and culture into lessons, and parents to support their children in speaking their local dialects.”
The event underscored Zoomlion’s commitment to employee recognition, motivation, and its ongoing efforts to promote effective waste management and sanitation across Africa.
