Abide by code of ethics -JUSAG to Staff

The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) has issued a press statement calling on its members to consistently adhere to the code of ethics in carrying out their responsibilities. JUSAG noted that in 2023, there were several instances of misconduct which resulted in disciplinary actions being taken against the offenders. It emphasized that certain severe forms of misconduct led to serious disciplinary measures against those found guilty.

The press statement, signed and released by Samuel Afotey Otu, the National President of JUSAG, on Sunday, December 31, conveyed a New Year message, urging JUSAG staff to uphold the code of conduct.

“We consider your job security as of utmost importance. Therefore, we urge you to handle your interactions with court users with prudence. Always display a high level of integrity and professionalism in the New Year and beyond.”

JUSAG acknowledged that 2023 brought about challenges for everyone, but it successfully confronted these challenges and emerged stronger. The statement expressed pride in the Association’s efforts to support and safeguard its members during difficult times.

“As we enter 2024, we anticipate that we will continue working together towards a better future for all. We have numerous exciting projects and initiatives planned for the upcoming year, and we have confidence that by working collectively, we can achieve even greater feats.”
