Boycott gov’t business over 3 NPP MPs’ death -NDC Chair

Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of progress in resolving the murders of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Members of Parliament. Nketia specifically mentioned the cases of J.B. Danquah Adu, Ekow Quansah Hayford, and John Kumah, MPs who died under suspicious circumstances. He criticized the authorities for not apprehending the perpetrators and called for urgent action from the police to ensure justice is served. Nketia demanded transparency in the investigation process and urged the government to prioritize the safety of elected officials.

He called on the police to update the nation on the progress of the investigations and expressed frustration over the lack of closure in these cases. Nketia questioned the government’s handling of the situation, highlighting the replacement of deceased MPs with their wives as members of parliament without any resolution to the murders.
