CAF CL: Hearts hammer Kamsar 2:0 to set up clash with WAC

Ghana Premier League Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak has beaten Guinean side CI Kamsar by two goals to nil in the preliminary stage of the CAF Champions League at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday to set a clash with Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco.

The keenly contested champions league match ended the first half without a goal. Tactical changes from Coach Samuel Boadu did the magic for Hearts of Oak.

In the 66th minute, Emmanuel Nettey was replaced by Salim Adams who changed the face of the game in favour of the Phobians.

In the 77th minutee,, Hearts did a double substitution – Kofi Kordzi and Isaac Agyenim Boateng came on for Frederick Ansah Botchwey and Isaac Mensah respectively.

Th changes made an instant impact as Kofi Kordzi sumptuously taken freekick at the edge of the 18 box found the back of the net to
put Hearts ahead.

18year old, Salim Adams cemented the victory with a long-range short outside the 18yards box in the 90th minute of the game.

Hearts will now face Moroccan giant Wydad Athletic Club in the next stage.
