CAF CL: Ivorian Referee officiates Hearts-Kamsar match Sunday, Accra

Accra Hearts of Oak will begin their CAF Champions League campaign in one off match against Guinean side Kamsar at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday and the governing body has appointed Ivorian Referee Patrick Tanguy Jean Philippe Vlei and his compatriot to steer the affairs of the game.

Fellow Ivorians Gabriel Tangah and Kalilou Bamba will be assistant one and two respectively and the fourth official will be Allou Franc Eric Miessan. Sekou Wieh Konneh from Loberia will serve as match commissioner while Dr. Christians Baah will be the Covid-19 officer.

The first league was scheduled to be played in Conakry last weekend but was concealed due to the unstable situation in Guinea after the military take over.

The Ghana premier league Champions last made appearance in the CAF Champions League in 2015, where they were kicked out by Tunisian giant, Esperance Sportive du Tunis.

Meanwhile, the winner of Hearts, Kamsar will face a Moroccan giant Wydad Athletic Club.
