Cherryfield Montessori Sch marks 8th graduation, speech and prize-giving day
Cherryfield Montessori School celebrated its 10th Anniversary with an event that included its 8th Graduation, Speech, and Prize-Giving Day. CEO Magdalene Dzifa Adzanu discussed the importance of digital technology and the responsibilities of all stakeholders in promoting it.
The event featured delightful performances, and notable graduates and staff members were recognized for their contributions to the school’s progress.
Guest of Honour, former Dean of the University of Ghana School of Public Health and Clinical Epidemiologist Prof. Fred Newton Binka, emphasized the need for school owners to implement advanced technology and systems to meet global standards. He commended Cherryfield Montessori School’s organization and proposed it as a model school.
Prof. Binka also suggested the West African Examination Council (WAEC) adopt advanced technology to prevent exam malpractices and prevent graduates from leaving Ghana for better opportunities abroad due to limited employment in their field.
Lawyer Betty Mould-Iddrisu, former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, spoke on the crucial role of parents in facilitating their children’s education and career paths, emphasizing discipline, history, language, creativity, arts, and cultural identity in shaping individuals’ lives. She also called for stronger infrastructure and the use of advanced technology to combat exam malpractices effectively.
Professor Fred. Newton Binka, Betty Mould-Iddrisu, and several other esteemed guests were in attendance at the grand celebration of Cherryfield Montessori School’s 10th anniversary.
