Copy of ‘Agyapadie’ document in circulation

President Akufo-Addo addressed rumors on Thursday, August 1, 2024, regarding a document believed to be a master plan of the Akyem faction within the NPP. The 38-page Agyapadie document, with no identified author, features the Okyenhene on the cover followed by President Akufo-Addo and his late father. It allegedly outlines strategies for total dominance over various sectors to run the country.

Despite events in Ghana’s political landscape aligning with the document’s predictions from over 8 years ago, the NPP discredits it, pointing fingers at political opponents as the culprits. Okyenhene Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin has denounced the document as a fabrication aimed at inciting hate against his household and Okyeman.
