Covid-19: Impose partial lockdown- UG Biostatistician to Akufo-Addo

Biostatistician and Lecturer at the University of Ghana Dr. Justice Moses Kwaku Aheto has prescribed a partial lockdown because of the fast spreading nature of Delta Variant ( Covid 19).

Speaking in an interview monitored by African Editors on Monday 26 July 2021, He said ” I believe that partial lockdown would be ideal at the moment but like I was saying I don’t think the country has the zeal or even the resources to do this because the economy is on its feet”.

Meanwhile, President Akuffo Addo in an address to the Nation reiterated his commitment to get 20 million people vaccinated by the end of the year.
