Dr. John Kumah’s mother demands autopsy
The mother of the late Deputy Finance Minister and Ejisu MP, Dr John Kumah is requesting an autopsy to determine the cause of his death. There have been widespread allegations of poisoning since he fell ill and passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Despite the rumors of poisoning, there has been no official confirmation from any experts, family members, or associates of the late MP. His mother, in an emotional interview with the media on March 8, expressed her pain and called for an autopsy to ascertain if the poisoning rumors were true.
She expressed disbelief that someone would wish such a tragic end for her son, emphasizing the devastation his death has brought to the family. She highlighted the suspicion of poisoning and lamented the loss of a young and promising parliamentarian.
Residents of Ejisu praised the late MP for his impactful service to the constituency, despite his relatively short time in office. They commended his personal touch, respect for all, and significant contributions that made him seem like a long-standing figure in the community.
Dr John Kumah, who passed away at the age of 45 after a brief illness, is remembered for his dedication to his family. He is survived by his wife, Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, and six children. His legacy includes his role as the first CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP).
