Kofi Adomah shot in his eye during firing of musketry

Prominent Ghanaian Journalist Kofi Adomah Nwanwani is currently undergoing urgent medical treatment in Dubai to restore sight in one of his eyes following an accidental shooting incident.

The accident occurred last week at a funeral in Dormaa, Bono Region, during the firing of musketry by local chiefs as part of the traditional ceremony.

According to exclusive details shared with African Editors, Kofi Adomah was repositioning himself when gunpowder from one of the recently fired guns struck his face, causing significant injury to one of his eyes and resulting in a loss of vision. His other eye was also affected, leaving him with blurry vision.

After receiving initial medical care in Ghana, Kofi Adomah was transferred to Dubai for specialized treatment.

A source close to the Kofi TV CEO shared, “He’s in Dubai for treatment to restore the vision in one eye, but unfortunately, the other may be permanently damaged.”
