Kweku Baako tackles Napo over loose talk against Nkrumah

Abdul-Malik Kweku Baako, Editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide, has strongly criticized Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, the running mate of NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for his recent political blunder.

NAPO caused controversy by comparing President Akufo-Addo’s achievements to those of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, during his introduction as Bawumia’s running mate in Kumasi.

Mr. Baako denounced this comparison as a “distraction” and warned that NAPO’s comments could harm the NPP’s chances in the upcoming elections. He criticized NAPO for providing ammunition to political opponents and advised him to focus on the election campaign rather than engaging in ideological debates.

Baako emphasized the importance of presenting a positive image for the party and expressed concern over the negative impact of NAPO’s remarks on certain constituencies.
