Musician Kuami Eugene involved in car accident

Ghanaian musician Kuami Eugene, who has won awards for his music, was injured on Sunday night after his car collided with a tipper truck.

The accident took place at CP, near the DSTV office towards the Dzowulu traffic light in Accra. It is unknown where the musician was headed at the time.

According to Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri, an Editor at Modern Ghana news portal who witnessed the accident, he was behind the musician’s car when the collision occurred around 11:30 pm.

Ajarfor stated that he helped the musician and his male passenger out of the car and arranged for them to be taken to UGMC hospital for treatment. The passenger complained of neck and back pain.

Ajarfor also called the Achimota Police Station to the scene, where the car was towed. The artiste suffered injuries to his arm, lips, leg, and hip, but is expected to recover.

The artiste was driving a range rover with registration number GC-220-21.
