No Ghana Card, no salary from Dec 1-CAGD to workers

Controller and Accountant General, Kwasi Kwaning Bosompem, has employees on government payroll without National Identification Authority (NIA) card won’t be paid from December 1, 2021.

As per Mr. Bosompem, the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD), is teaming up with NIA to have blended data set to work with biometric and novel ID of all government workers.

The move, CAGD clarified was “essential for Government of Ghana’s endeavours to convey quick, tied down and confirmed finance administration to government workers and beneficiaries while decreasing the danger of undeserving installment or cases, the Controller and Accountant-General’s Mr Kwaning Bosompem is teaming up with NIA to have blended information base to work with biometric and remarkable distinguishing proof of all specialists on the public authority finance”.

“By this notification, all current and planned Government workers are to make thst they are enrolled with the NIA and acquired their cards numbers.”
