Qatar 2022: No Ghanaian killed in SA over 1:0 match- H.C

The High Commissioner of (H.C) of Ghana in Pretoria, South Africa has issued a statement to debunk earlier news in circulation in Ghana that a Ghanaian living in South Africa Yaw Adu has been stabbed to death over heated argument over Ghana and Black Star World Cup qualifiers match at Cape Coast.

Yesterday Kumasi based radio station Fox FM in an interview with Mr. Obeng- Boateng stated that a Ghanaian who had a heated argument with a South African before and after the match has been stabbed to death. He also alleged that the South Africans have issued warning to Ghanaian to pray the FIFA review goes their way, else they will deal with them.

The commission has revealed in the statement released on Thursday that they have done extensive investigation including speaking to Mr. Obeng- Boateng and they can confirm that it’s fake news, Ghanaian should disregard it.

Meanwhile, they also cautioned Ghanaian in South Africa to desist from unnecessary and heated arguments.
