Sam George sacks NCA’s Director of Cyber Security

Samuel Nartey George, the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram and Minister for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations, has dismissed Mr. Kwadwo Gyamfi Osafo-Mafo from his role as the Director of Cyber Security at the National Communications Authority (NCA).

Osafo-Mafo has been instructed to transfer his responsibilities to the Acting Director General of the NCA.

A dismissal letter, signed by the Ministry’s Chief Director, Alexander Yaw Arphul, stated: “I wish to inform you that the Minister of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations has terminated your appointment as Director of Cyber Security at the National Communications Authority, effective immediately.

“You are hereby directed to hand over your duties to the Acting Director General of the National Communications Authority.

“In accordance with paragraph 8 of your appointment letter, you will receive three months’ salary in lieu of notice.

“The Honorable Minister extends his gratitude for your service to the nation.”
