72%/2,034 fail Ghana Sch of Law entrance exam
It has emerged that 72% of LLB holders who attempted to secure admission to the Ghana School of Law in a bid to pursue professional law programme has failed entrance examinations.
Out of 2,824 LLB candidates from the various law faculties across Ghana, who took 2021 Ghana School of Law Entrance Exams, only 790 of them passed representing approximately 28%.
Cleaerly, a whopping 72% failed the entrance exams and will not be admitted for the professional law programme.
In Ghana, LLB holders who want to be called to the bar and given license to practise as a lawyer is obliged to go through professional law programme at the Ghana School of Law.
