Kenya rejects court verdict over boundary dispute with Somalia

Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta has dismissed a decision by the UN’s top court which permits Somalia assume responsibility for the majority of a conceivably oil and gas-rich lump of the Indian Ocean.

The decision on Tuesday comes after a debate between the two nations over the issue.

“While Kenya isn’t shocked by the choice, it is significantly worried by the import of the choice and its suggestions for the Horn of Africa district, and global law by and large. Like their leader, some Kenyans seem frustrated at the court verdict.
