Rep Vs Dr. Opuni case: SC stops trial judge Honyenugah

It has emerged that Ghana’s apex Court has stopped His Lordship Justice Clement Honyenugah from presiding over the case between the state and former COCOBOD CED Dr. Stephen Opuni who has been charged for causing financial loss to the state.

The Supreme Court by a 3-2 majority ruling, has prohibited Justice Clement Honyenugah from sitting on the Republic vrs Dr Stephen Opuni case.

Dr. Opuni’s lawyers has earlier attempted processes to get trial Justice Honyenugah to recuse himself from sitting on the but was unsuccessful.
