Terrorism and insecurity in Africa

Security risk assessment is key, and a panacea for curbing and mitigating the emerging threat of the global menace of terrorism.

Any bad judgement and lackadaisical attitude from law enforcement officers, and negligence from national policy makers in the direction of security and governance can be disastrous, and an expensive hidden cost to lives and property.

May our frontline security officers, and the key decision makers in the security intelligence teams, take the baseline risk assessment activities and exercises very serious along the entry points; in -and – out of Ghana, particularly along the border crime control areas, across the entire country, and in close proximity.

Border control officers will be well-positioned and well-informed to prepare for a continuous risk assessment when the outcome of baseline security risk assessment is concrete, and concisely profitable.

Frankly speaking, we can do alot more better, and ensure we maintain the serenity surrounding our national sovereignty, and public safety guidelines.

Thank you, and wish all frontline officers, the best of God’s blessings and guidance. Wiser.
