Ghana Gas Staff Join National Drive to Promote Environmental Sanitation
Staff of Ghana National Gas Limited Company (Ghana Gas) on Friday, July 10, 2026, joined the nationwide National Clean-Up Exercise, demonstrating the Company’s unwavering commitment to environmental sanitation, public health, and sustainable community development. Employees at the Company’s Headquarters as well as all operational sites across the country actively participated in the exercise by sweeping, weeding, cutting overgrown grass, clearing curbs, and desilting drains within and around their operational areas.
Supporting the National Clean-Up Campaign
The clean-up exercise forms part of the National Clean-Up Campaign launched by H.E. President John Dramani Mahama under the theme, “Our Action, Our Future: Cleaning Ghana After the Floods.” The initiative aims to restore clean, healthy communities following recent flooding while fostering a shared sense of responsibility for protecting the environment. By participating in the exercise, Ghana Gas reaffirmed its support for national efforts to improve sanitation and build resilient communities.
Hon. John Dumelo Joins Ghana Gas Staff
The exercise at the Ghana Gas Head Office was graced by the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Hon. John Dumelo, who joined management and staff in carrying out the clean-up activities. His participation underscored the importance of collaboration between public institutions, community leaders, and citizens in advancing environmental cleanliness and promoting healthier living conditions.

Ghana Gas continues to demonstrate its commitment to environmental sustainability by supporting initiatives that promote cleaner and safer communities.
