All set for Ashanti Regional NPP Delegates’ Conference today

Everything is set for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region to coordinate its yearly Delegates’ Conference.

Booked for today Wednesday, October 27 and Thursday, October 28, the meeting is relied upon to unite more than 799 representatives from each of the 47 constituencies within the Ashanti Region.

Regional leaders just as individuals from the Regional Council of Elders will likewise be available to ponder over issues of the party and anticipate what’s to come ahead of crucial 2024 polls.

The Regional Organizer for the party, Francis Adomako, speaking to the media on Monday, October 25, assured that plans are in progress to ensure participants observe the Covid-19 safety protocols.

The NPP in Ashanti Region had initially booked the date for the Conference for Saturday, October 9 and Sunday, October 10 but rescheduled.

The setting during the current year’s Conference is the premises of the Forestry Research Institute of Ghana (FORIG) at Ejisu in the Ashanti Region.

The governing party is determined to capture power beyond the 8 years period of office.
