NPP directs members to stop commenting on issues on Manhyia Palace

The NPP has directed its members to refrain from commenting on the ongoing issues between the party and the Manhyia Palace. The Ashanti Region is buzzing with talk of derogatory remarks about the Manhyia Palace made by the Ashanti Regional NPP Chair, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, which has sparked intense discussions on radio.

At a press conference in Kumasi, NPP General Secretary, Justin Koduah, stated that the party leadership is addressing the situation. In addition, the NPP has promised to complete all stalled projects in the region, with the completion of the Kumasi International Airport expected before the second quarter of the year.

The NPP is gearing up for its parliamentary primaries, with 400 individuals obtaining forms to participate. After the vetting process, 17 aspiring candidates were disqualified, leaving 322 candidates qualified for the primaries. The General Secretary also advised against the camping and transportation of delegates to ensure a fair and transparent voting process.
