Bishop Salifu Amoako’s son jailed for 6 months

The 16-year-old son of Bishop Salifu Amoako, founder of Alive Chapel, has been sentenced to six months at the Senior Correctional Centre following his involvement in a tragic road crash on October 12 at East Legon, which resulted in the deaths of two teenage girls. The young driver pleaded guilty to eight charges, including two counts of manslaughter.

The accident, which involved Amoako’s son behind the wheel, has also led to legal charges against the bishop and his wife for allowing an unlicensed individual to operate the vehicle. Video footage of the crash revealed that the teenager was speeding before colliding with the rear of another car. The incident, which involved seven people in total, claimed the lives of Maame Dwomoh and Justine Agbenu.
