GPL: Hearts is back in the top 4 after defeating Accra Lions

Defending Ghana Premier League Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak has made their way back into the top four after returning to winning ways with n emphatic win over Accra Lions.

Hearts dropped out of the top four after losing to Kotoko and drawing with Elmina Sharks.

The thrashing of city rival Accra Lions by 3goals to nil has pushed them to the fourth place with 40 points.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko remains at the summit of the League log with 52points after 26 matches. The closest contender Bechem United has 44 points from 25 matches.

The gab between Kotoko and Hearts is 12 points with 8matches to go.

Kotoko will be travelling to Sogakofe to face WAFA, while Hearts welcome Dreams FC at the Accra Stadium in their next matches.

Many pundits tipped Hearts to defend the title, but unfortunately, they started the season poorly with so many draws.

At a point they were in the relegation zone, but they picked the piece together and it looks like they will seal their top four position.
