‘Who should give birth for you to have rights on?- Ex-Ghanaian MP asks gays
“To be honest, the most dangerous of all aspects of the LGBTQ+ is the ‘Q’ which stands for Queer where gay practitioners can easily penetrate and cause serious damages to the anus of your tender age child in the name of human rights. For me, it is simply a bill that is necessary to settle the matter once and for all, I’m for the passage of that bill to place embargo on homosexuality”, former Ghana’s Legislator for La Dadakotopon Nii Amasa Namoale told the media in an interview monitored by African Editors on Friday 15 October 2021.
He told the press that : “If your advocacy, behaviour and practices are unconstitutional, it is only right and appropriate that the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, 2021 clearly spells out the behaviour of the Ghanaian, those living within the jurisdiction on the matter under consideration whilst prescribing punishment for offenders”.
For the former Ghanaian Member of Parliament Namoale, “laws are made to regulate the behaviour of citizenry. If you say you have unlimited rights as gays to marry your fellow man who will never give birth…tell me, who should give birth to the male child in same society for you to sodomise or destroy his anus with your male organ all because you have human rights…?”.
Meanwhile, the Christian community in Ghana led by the book runners of the Pentecost Church, Methodist Church, Anglican Church, the charismatic churches, Catholic Bishops Conference and the Muslims led by the Chief Imam Sheikh Dr. Nuhu Sharabutu have vowed to openly led campaigns and vote against every politician or government that oppose the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, 2021.
The bill also referred to as anti-LGBTQ+ Bill was laid before parliament and has been directed to the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee of Parliament for study after first reading to furnish the house with report for debates towards passage.
Ghana’s 8th Parliament is currently on recess and will resume next werk to take up the businesses of the lawmaking house including the processes that will ushere-in enactment of the anti-gay law.
