2024 Polls: NDC to launch “NDC360” TV channel

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), Ghana’s largest opposition party, is preparing to launch their official television channel ahead of the 2024 general elections.

The NDC aims to broadcast their campaign message through this TV channel. The party’s Communication Director, Sammy Gyamfi, announced the idea on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter). Gyamfi explained that the show, called NDC360, will be broadcast live on YouTube, Facebook, X, and other TV channels every Saturday from 7:30pm to 9pm. He called on Ghanaians, especially NDC sympathizers, to follow NDC360 on various social media platforms such as Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube, to stay informed about the NDC’s campaign message for 2024.

The NDC believes that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s poor governance and economic mismanagement have led to economic hardships in the country, while the NPP argues that these challenges are global due to COVID-19 and the Russian-Ukraine war. Despite this, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia remains optimistic that Ghana has the potential to develop and surpass expectations.

In his New Year message, Bawumia encouraged Ghanaians to trust the government’s transformation agenda and work together to build a better Ghana. Meanwhile, the NPP has also launched their own online television channel called Bawumia TV, which focuses on showcasing Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s achievements and ideas.
