Ghana Gas deepens bond with Ga State through royal courtesy
Ghana Gas Management Pays Courtesy Call on Ga Mantse
The Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Gas Limited Company (Ghana Gas), Ms. Judith Adjobah Blay, together with members of the Company’s Management, has paid a courtesy call on His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Mantse, at his Palace in Accra.
The visit, which took place on Thursday, 6th August 2026, was aimed at strengthening the longstanding relationship between Ghana Gas and the Ga State while exploring avenues for deeper collaboration in support of community development.
Sharing the Ghana Gas Story
During the engagement, Ms. Blay shared the Ghana Gas story with the Ga Mantse, highlighting the Company’s mandate, core operations and its significant contribution to Ghana’s energy sector.
She explained the important role Ghana Gas plays in processing and supplying natural gas to support power generation and other economic activities, underscoring the Company’s contribution to Ghana’s energy security and development. The Chief Executive Officer also reaffirmed Ghana Gas’ commitment to working closely with stakeholders and supporting initiatives that promote sustainable development and improve the well-being of communities within its areas of operation and influence.
Commitment to the Development of the Ga State
Ms. Blay emphasised that Ghana Gas remains committed to supporting the development aspirations of the Ga State and contributing to initiatives that positively impact the lives of its people.
She noted that the Company values its relationship with traditional authorities and communities and looks forward to identifying more opportunities for meaningful collaboration with the Ga State.
Ghana Gas Supports Ga Mantse Foundation
As a gesture of goodwill, Ghana Gas presented souvenirs and other items, together with a cash donation, to support the Ga Mantse Foundation and its community development initiatives.
The gesture reflected the Company’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility and its desire to contribute to projects that address the needs of communities and promote social development.
Ga Mantse Commends Ghana Gas
His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II expressed his appreciation to the Chief Executive Officer and Management of Ghana Gas for the courtesy visit. The Ga Mantse commended the Company for its contribution to Ghana’s development and acknowledged the importance of its operations to the country’s energy sector.
He encouraged the Management of Ghana Gas to continue implementing projects and initiatives that create tangible benefits for the Ga State and improve the quality of life of its people.

The delegation from Ghana Gas included the Deputy Chief Executive Officers, Mr. Rene Nelson and Dr. Ing. Robert Kofi Lartey.
