Akufo-Addo’s convoy involved in fatal accident
An accident involving a vehicle from President Akufo-Addo’s convoy took place at Bunso Junction in the Eastern Region. The collision occurred when a KIA Rhino truck crossed paths with the President’s Toyota Land Cruiser, resulting in the driver’s death at the scene. Three other passengers in the vehicle sustained injuries of varying degrees. Fortunately, President Akufo-Addo was not present in the convoy at the time of the accident, as he had attended a funeral in Kumasi over the weekend. Videos circulating on social media show the severely damaged Toyota on the roadside, with security personnel at the scene.
