Anti-Gay Bill: Ghanaian MP denied visa to Netherlands for sponsoring
Ghanaian Member of Parliament for Tamale North Alhassan Suhuyini has been allegedly denied entry into Netherlands for sponsoring the LGBTQI+ Bill currently before Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee of Ghana’s Parliament.
Known as Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, 2021, the bill, the proposed law if passed will criminalise activities of Homosexuals and advocates of gayism and lesbianism in Ghana.
Alhassan Suhuyini is part of the Seven-member group of Lawmakers who introduced the bill to Parliament.
The National Democratic Congress MP for Tamale North, Hon. Alhassan Suhuyini is asserted to have been denied the traveling visa into the Netherlands for his contribution to the bill before the Ghanaian parliament looking to make LGBTQI+ unlawful and punishable in Ghana.
