‘Any idiot can go to court’ -Lilwin tackles Martha Ankomah

Lilwin, also known as Kwadwo Nkansah, responded to Martha Ankomah’s lawsuit in an Instagram post on Thursday, February 16, 2024. He shared a quote from a TV interview with John Asiedu Nketia of the National Democratic Congress, where Nketia stated that “Any idiot can go to court,” emphasizing that the court has the final say in matters.

Lilwin added a caption highlighting the court’s role in ensuring equal justice under the law and acting as interpreter of the Constitution. He also expressed his love for the Ghana movie industry.

In response to Martha Ankomah’s criticism of Kumawood, Lilwin attacked her, questioning her relevance and suggesting she owes her success to the funding of wealthy individuals. He also disputed her suitability for her GTP ambassadorial deals.

Lilwin was served with a writ of summons dated February 14, signed by Chief Justice Gertrude Araba Esaaba Sackey Torkornoo, requiring him to appear in court within eight days. Martha Ankomah, listed as the plaintiff, sought GHS5,000,000 in damages for defamation and compensation for reputational damage.
