Memolody Sundowns of South Africa has defeated the Hasaacas ladies of Ghana to by 2 goals to nil in Egypt to win the maiden edition of CAF Women Champions League on Friday night.

Hasaacas ladies started the match on a good note creating all the chances but couldn’t break the defense of the Sundowns who has never conceded a goal throughout the competition.

Chuene Morifi was picked out in the box and she cheekily put the ball at the back of the net before the end of the first half.

The South African giants dominated the second half and were rewarded for their swift counter pressing with a goal when Andisiwe Mgcoyi was left without a marker and she coolly planted the ball into the back of the net.
