Forgive them; they know not the power of love –Court tells Prof. Fobih after his son, nephew challenged his marriage

The High Court at Cape Coast has ruled in favor of former Education Minister Professor Dominic Fobih, allowing his marriage to 30-year-old Mary Nyamekye Oduro to proceed. The court dismissed the objections raised by his son and nephew, finding them to be without merit.

The objections to the marriage were based on the age difference between Prof. Fobih and his soon-to-be wife, as well as concerns about his health and the alleged motives of the lady in question. The court, however, found no valid reason to prevent the marriage and cleared the couple to proceed.

Additionally, the court confirmed that Prof. Fobih’s previous marriage to Beatrice Boateng had been dissolved, further supporting the validity of his current marriage plans.

In its ruling, the court also urged Prof. Fobih to forgive his son and nephew for their objections and imposed financial penalties on the caveators for their unfounded claims.
