Covid-19: GEA asks employers to run shift system
Ghana Employers Association (GEA) has outlined comprehensive guidelines to be implemented by employers.
The latest guidelines by the GEA is in line the association’s agenda to compliment efforts of government to contain, combat and prevent spread of infectious pandemic.

According to the guidelines, business owners, managers and book runners of firms must constitute safety committees to handle Covid-19 cases.
Apart from that, owners of businesses are to change workplace culture such as handshaking, workers taking lunch on their desk and others”.
CEO of Ghana Employers Association Alex Frimpong said “We endorsed the view that we have to collaborate with government to tackle head-on Covid-19 pandemic”.
He noted that the ” primary concern is that let’s us protect ourselves first in the era of Covid-19 before any other projections are considered. This is because you may not leave to enjoy such projections if Covid-19 strikes you. Let’s protect ourselves first”.
