‘Ejura C’ttee’s work too scanty to label cause of Kaaka’s death’-Security Expert

Executive Director of West African Center for Counter Extremism (WACCE) Mutaru Mumuni Muqthar says the work of Justice George Koomson-led Committee was not watertight to conclude and spell out the exact cause of Kaaka’s death.

According to him, homicide investigation goes beyond what the fact-finding committee did to ascertain the real architects behind such a gruesome murder.

Speaking in an interview monitored by African Editors on Tuesday 28 September 2021 in Accra, the Security Expert
Mumuni Muqthar said “Your work not detailed enough to discover and pronounce the cause of Kaaka’s death. Homicide investigation requires a lot to jump into such solid conclusions”.

Contributing to the discussion, Security Consultant Richard Kumadoe says “Let’s work hard to prevent future Ejura unfortunate incidence characterised by military shootings, brutalities that led to the death of unarmed civilian demonstrators. Someone has lost body part”.
