Ghanaian Rapper Medikal denied bail, caged after arrest for brandishing gun

Ghanaian Rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly known in Showbiz circles as Medikal is going through the night in police custody after he was picked up for shaking a weapon in a video via web-based media.

He was hence denied bail by the police.

Medikal has since been moved from the Accra Regional Police Headquarters, where he was previously detained.

He was arrested by officers of the Accra Regional Police Command on Thursday, October 21, 2021.

African Editors’ sources have affirmed that the Hiplife Vocalist will be arraigned before court on Friday.

It is important to anchor the point that they Medikal was with his better-half, Fella Makafui, later today at the Accra Regional Police Command charge office.

Medikal becomes third to be arrested after this week after Shatta Wale and Funny Face.

Meanwhile, African Editors’ sources have confirmed that Dancehall Artiste Shatta Wale has been caged at Ankaful facility to spend almost a week in police custody.
