2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) will kick off today for the season.

According to Ghana Football Association, GPL winner of the season will go home with GHC 250, 000 and the best referee will get a car.

GPL: ‘No vaccination, no stadium entry’ -GFA

Ghana Football Association has said no unvaccinated football fans will be permitted section into the stadia to watch 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League matches.

GFA President Kurt Okraku made the declaration at the 27th typical meeting of congress at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence at Prampram on Thursday, 28 October 2021.

“We are connecting with the government to guarantee we have more fans getting to our games yet one of the key prerequisites will be the requirement for us all to guarantee we are inoculated or vaccinated to have the option to get to football”, he said.

“Thus, this means every one of our players and staff will be inoculated”, he added.

To be sure, he stated, “that cycle has begun and all football fans who will need to get to our games inhabit the different stadia should demonstrate they have gotten immunization”.

He additionally declared that the fan quantity has been expanded from 20% to 25 percent.
