GRA has initiated mobile App for filing of taxes- Dr. Bawumia
Vice President of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has revealed that Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has initiated a mobile App for filing of taxes.
According to Dr. Bawumia, the novelty is in line with government agenda to arrest revenue shortfalls and meet targets.

Speaking at Ashesi University in the Eastern Region of Ghana on “Transforming an economy through Digitisation : The Ghana story”, on Tuesday 2 November 2021, Dr. Bawumia said “Ghana’s digitisation agenda is being implemented without foreign aide”.
For Dr. Bawumia, “Free WiFi has be provided to 710 Senior High Schools.
He noted that “We are improving internet access in rural Ghana. We have drastically improved cyber security to 89.6%”.
Dr. Bawumia has disclosed that government has provided additional 10,000 CCTV cameras across the country to improve the fight against crimes.
According to him, the said fixing of CCTV cameras infrastructure has helped the Ghana Police Service in the arrest of suspects of armed robbery in the country.
For him, “Access to E-pharmacy is set to improved by close of this year”.
