African Editors sources have affirmed that Highlife Legend Nana Kwame Ampadu has joined his ancestors.

He is said to have passed on today. The reason for his demise is yet to be learned.

Nana Kwame Ampadu was an easily recognized name in Ghana. His style of music is cherished by all, the two children and grown-ups.

He hails from Obo-Kwahu in the Eastern Region. He formed and recorded tunes about cash, love and marriage, great citizenship, demise, street habits for business drivers, successful nurturing, social definition and practically every part of our being in this country.

As an update, tracks like Ebi Ti Yie, Aku Sika, Kofi Nkrabea, Obiaa Ba Nnye, Woyoo, Mother, Mentumi Ngyae Wo, Agartha, Aye Se Ye Do Wo, Obra, Drivers, Anibere Nnye, Oman Bo Adwo, Kwaata and numerous others were credited to his works.

African Editors says may the Lord grant the family and Africa the fortitude the sudden loss. It’s not how he died but how he lived. May his spirit find happiness in the hereafter. May his soul rest in peace!
